Nearly 1100 new photoelectric observations of the photometrically neglected eclipsing binary V478 Cygni in blue and yellow colours are presented. The improved light elements are calculated from the new photoelectric minima. The light curves were analyzed using D.B. Wood's model simulation program WINK. The system was found to be a detached binary.
