We use a perturbation method to solve the general relativistic equations for the structure of an axisymmetric star under uniform, slow rotation. The treatment is taken to th second order in the angular velocity and 10 possible equations of state (EOS) are considered. Specific results for one of the EOS (labelled EOS-G) are given and the effect of rotation on the structure parameters and properties of the star is discussed in detail.
