AAVSO observations of 5 eclipsing binary stars indicate a large
discrepancy when compared with the elements from the 4th edition of the
General Catalogue of Variable Stars (Kholopov et al. 1985). New periods
for SS Ari, TY Boo, DF Hya, Z Lep, and TY UMa have been calculated.
