The operational properties of the AOS-II spectrometer of Purple Mountain Observatory for water maser measurement are determined using a ``comb'' input signal and are found to be good: average channel frequency 12.10 +/- 0.02 kHz, frequency resolution 22.1 +/- 1.8 kHz, fluctuation of frequency resolution in time +/- 1.2 kHz, fluctuation in bandpass +/- 1.0 kHz, total bandwidth 12.39 MHz.
