Results are presented of a percolation analysis to test for very large scale structure in the Abell (1958) and Zwicky et al. (1968) cluster catalogs. The methodology used in the analysis and the characteristics of the samples used in the study are described. It is found that, on angular scales up to 50 deg, both samples can be distinguished from a random distribution, suggesting large scale structure of scales up to about 350/h Mpc (h = H/100 per kms per Mpc). Zwicky samples of different distance classes lead to similar results on angular scales larger than about 15 deg.
