After a brief review of existing methods of solar-activity forecasting, the paper proposes a novel method of ultralong-range forecasting. The method is based on the correlation between the average-yearly value of the geomagnetic activity index in a given 11-year cycle and the height of the next cycle. Some practical applications of this method are discussed.
