Magnetic field strengths and the 5200 A feature appear to be correlated in He-weak stars. This is further evidence that they form the hot extension of the upper main sequence, chemically peculiar stars, both of their magnetic and nonmagnetic branches. To take account of this situation, an extension of Preston's (1974) nomenclature of CP-stars is suggested.
