We report on the ongoing NIR brightening of BZQ J1727+4530 (B31726+455) an intermediate redshift quasar (z=0.717) also known as CGRaBS J1727+4530 On April 15th, 2011 (JD 2455666.9474), we detected a rather strong NIR source coincident with the radio position. We determined the flux from this object to correspond to H = 14.224 ± 0.05. That is 1.9 mag brighter than the flux value measured by our group previously.
