A new variable has been found 38 arcmin from the center of the Draco galaxy. The light curve and distance modulus of this star suggest it is an RR Lyrae variable far out in the halo of the Galaxy. Magnitudes and a finding chart for this star are given. While farther away than the variables discovered by the Lick survey, it is not the farthest Galactic RR Lyrae star known.
