The apsidal period U of HS Herculis is determined by means of an analysis of previous discrepant determinations and by means of treatments of the observed minima of the eclipsing binary. Attention is given to the scant observational evidence to support the conclusions drawn in previous treatments by Hall and Hubbard (1971) and Martynov (1971). Existing observed minima are analyzed to determine the O-C differences, and the diagram shows that one effect of apsidal motion is present. An apsidal period of 60 years is theorized which contributes to the observed periodic variation of HS Herculis.
