An OH maser source of type I (G 109.7 plus 2.2), emitting intense
radiation in the principal lines (1665, 1667 MHz), has been discovered
in the Cepheus OB 3 association. In the same direction there is an
extended OH source of type IIc with 1612-MHz emission accompanied by
1720-MHz absorption.
