We model gamma ray burst afterglows, assuming that the progenitor was a massive O type star surrounded by a high pressure HII region, which later became a luminous blue variable, and in turn became a Wolf-Rayet star with a surrounding bubble. We calculate the spectrum and corresponding light curves of synchrotron radiation from a relativistic shock that encounters this density structure. By varying the Wolf-Rayet timescale and wind velocity, we are able to adequately explain a host of GRB phenomena, including the preponderance of constant density GRBs with low densities and fast faders.
