The data published by Kerridge et al. (1973) are used here together with a new statistical method to determine the members of the open cluster NGC 1664. The new method involves the use of the chi-square test to find the parameters of the probability density function of the proper motions of a group of stars which probably are cluster members. The spatial density of the stars in the cluster is shown.
