Galaxy Groups: Catalogues, Galaxy Groups: Redshift Surveys

The Center for Astrophysics redshift survey is complete to mB(0) ≤ 15.5 in the Zwicky system and it now spans a wide solid angle: 8h ≤ α ≤ 17h and 8°5 ≤ δ ≤ 44°5. The size and depth of the survey are unprecedented among complete and well defined redshift surveys. The authors identify groups of galaxies within the survey (405 groups in their "best" catalog) and study the performances of the friends-of-friends identification algorithm.
