The Kepler problem of celestial mechanics is investigated analytically, extending the approach of Ferrandiz et al. (1985). A one-parameter family of time transformations, corresponding to Keplerian-motion anomalies intermediate between the elliptic and true anomalies, is derived. It is shown that the canonical Delaunay-Similar variables can be determined directly by applying the results of Bond and Janin (1981).
