INTEGRAL discovered a new hard X-ray transient, IGR J17361-4441, during the observations performed from 2011-08-11 22:45 to 2011-08-15 07:39 UTC.
The source is detected in the IBIS/ISGRI mosaic at a preliminary significance level of 8 in the 20-40 keV energy band. The corresponding flux is 7±1 mCrab (68% c.l., only statistical).
The best determined source position is at RA=264.046; DEC=-44.689 (J2000) with a 90% confinement radius of 3 arcmin.
