Based on the principle of the "O-C" method, a new FORTRAN program OMC has been developed to make the calculations on the times of maximum light of mono-periodic δ Scuti stars, to reveal the mechanism of the period changes in the pulsation of these variable stars. This program has been used on the data of CY Aqr, providing convincing analysis results, which shows that it is a useful tool to do this kind of analysis, and also may be helpful in some other similar studies.
