A very young open star cluster located at galactic longitude 348.7 deg and latitude -0.8 deg, which contains at least 15 OB stars, has been confirmed on the basis of photoelectric UBV photometry and moderate-dispersion spectroscopy. Reddened by 1.85 magnitudes, it is 2.9 + or - 0.4 kpc distant in the spiral arm - II. Two of the stars are of type WN8+OB; two others are of type O4f and O5f. Their absolute visual magnitudes are compatible with membership. The evolutionary relationship of WR and Of stars is discussed.
