A new calibration in BVRI is given for the Stobie et al. (1985) CCD stellar sequence F117-11. These observations were calibrated using Graham's (1981) photoelectric sequence near the spiral galaxy NGC 300. This paper shows that the V magnitude of the standard stars in F117-11 are on average 0.102 + or - 0.010 magnitudes brighter than that given in Stobie et al., which had used magnitude zero point corrections up to 0.1 magnitudes. The usefulness of this new calibration of F117-11 is demonstrated by showing that a good set of color equations for the BVRI filters of the European Southern Observatory Faint Object Spectrograph and Camera on the ESO 3.6-m telescope can be obtained with just 26 minutes of observation time.
