The power spectrum analysis of the light curve of the red supergiant μ Cep shows the presence of two periodic terms (the longer having a Cepheid-like shape), which may be interpreted as the fundamental and first overtone radial modes.
Moreover there are four terms due to some non-linear coupling between the first two.
