We present results of a multi-wavelength study of NGC 6946. We examine ratios of various hydrogen emission lines and forbidden lines emitted by the galaxy in the visible and infrared regimes: Hβ , Hα , Brγ , [SII], and [OIII]. The data were extinction corrected using extinction maps created from both infrared and optical hydrogen recombination lines. Fluxes for previously identified HII regions were obtained from the data in these bands. We present a table of fluxes for Hα , Hβ , and Brγ , and the [OIII] / Hβ ratio and another table of star formation rates calculated for Hα , Hβ , and Brγ . There is a noticeable declining trend of the SFR with increasing galactocentric distance. The SFRs from Hβ are lower than those for Hα and Brγ , indicating a possible problem with Case B recombination (Baker & Menzel, 1938).
