Only a few of the 170 unidentified EGRET sources cluster within small regions of less than 6° in the sky. Here we present observational evidence supporting the association of such a group of three neighboring γ-ray sources (3EG J1834-2803, 3EG J1847-3219, and 3EG J1850-2652) with a new supernova remnant discovered at radio wavelengths. Two of the sources are coincident with HI clouds, detected through 21-cm line observations, which seem to be overtaken by the expanding shell of the remnant. The discovery of this multiple γ-ray source has profound implications for the origin of the galactic cosmic rays. .
