The authors present radio continuum surveys of M33 with the Effelsberg 100-m telescope at 21.1 cm, 17.4 cm, 11.1 cm, 6.3 cm and 2.8 cm. The data are displayed as distributions of total intensity and linear polarization. Thirty-eight point sources in a 2°×2° field around M33 are seen which are either constituents of the galaxy or background sources. A chain of up to nine sources may be connected with the known large-scale alignment of quasars and radio galaxies to the southwest of M33.
