Techniques are described for automatic photometry of faint images on fine-grained plates, and are applied to an area of 350 square arcminutes in SA 57 containing a rich cluster of galaxies at z = 0.24. The authors present a photometric catalog based upon 4 m plates in four bandpasses for 738 objects (494 galaxies, 244 stars) brighter than 22.5 mag in the blue or 21.0 mag in the red.
