We present a multi-wavelength study of NGC 6670, an interacting galaxy pair, apparently in an early stage of interaction. Thus far our imaging campaign includes: CO(1-0) observations using the Berkeley-Illinois-Maryland-Association (BIMA) array, 20cm continuum observations from the Very Large Array (VLA), 0.45mm and 0.85mm observations made with the Submillimetre Common User Bolometer Array (SCUBA) on the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope (JCMT), and 15 micron observations taken by ISOCAM on the Infrared Space Observatory (ISO). In this interacting system we find evidence that molecular gas tends to concentrate toward the galactic center in at least one of the galaxies, and that the star formation efficiency in the nucleus of this galaxy is higher than that observed in ordinary galaxies. We suggest that the nucleus of this galaxy is entering a starburst phase.
