Fifteen dwarf galaxies with blue colors, low luminosities (absolute visual magnitudes fainter than -17.5) and small dimensions (diameters of no more than about 4 kpc) have been studied on blue and red large-scale photographs taken at Asiago Observatory. Three of them, plus possibly two others, can be classified as dwarf ellipticals. In the remaining sample, bright knots and other morphological peculiarities dominate the appearance of the structure.
