Theoretical studies of solid bodies aggregation deal with foundamental questions about the formation and the early stages of our Solar System.
In order to investigate how sub-micron solid particles aggregate together in the solar nebula up to meter range, we are developping a simulator that
produces aggregates of monomers through collisions in a ballistic regime.
Moreover, since such kind of irregular particles, also used in reflectance and dynamical studies to derive hints about the intimate nature of cometary dust, are generally considered as aggregates of spherical monomers, we are also investigating the effects of different monomer shapes on the final aggregate.
Here we present our initial results, mainly in terms of fractal mass dimension and porosity of the terminal particles.
