In the present model, we have assumed the plasma conditions above a solar active region to be varying continuously from the center of the active region to the adjacent quiet region and derived the 3-dimensional distributions of three physical parameters of the plasma such as electron density, electron temperature, and magnetic field to be functions of both the height above the photosphere and the distance from the central axis of the active region. Using the combined emission mechanism of gyro-resonance (cyclotron resonance) radiation and bremsstrahlung, we have built a model of solar radio active regions.
