The current EUV data on the chromosphere-corona region was applied to construct a model of radiation for solar radio SVC which assumes that the physical conditions above an active region vary continuously from the center of the sunspot to the adjacent quiet region. The radiation mechanism of the SVC for a unipolar sunspot shows that the maxima of the flux density and the polarization degree spectra are at gamma values of 6 and 3 cm, respectively. The model also presents distribution characteristics of SVC radiation over the sunspot which correspond to the resolving power of 0.3 to 4.8. Finally, it is indicated that the cyclotron resonance radiation is dominant in the SVC, and that the reflected component of the inward extraordinary wave can be neglected.
