A model of sunlight scattering by an artificial spherical formation is developed on the basis of the numerical solution of the radiation transfer equation. Analytical solutions are obtained for radiation intensity in the multiple-scattering approximation for a homogeneous sphere when scattering occurs in the direction of the initial photons and in the opposite direction. The model was tested, and demonstrated to be applicable when solving problems of radiation scattered by an artificial cloud in the upper atmosphere.
