A model for the formation of voids and filaments in the universe is suggested, using numerical simulation . The standard cosmology with Omega = 1.0 is adopted. The model starts with a hybrid distribution consisting of a poisson distribution and an adiabatic perturbation. Two values, 0.25 and 0.125 are taken for the perturbation amplitude. The results show that voids and filaments can appear in this hybrid model, provided the amplitude of the adiabatic perturbation is sufficiently large. Otherwise, only clusters can appear.
