An LTE line-blanketed model atmosphere analysis of Procyon relative to the sun is presented. The atmospheric parameters surface gravity, effective temperature, and microturbulent velocity are determined, showing previously obtained values, a comparison between observed and predicted fluxes, and the Balmer lines. For the abundance analysis, the equivalent widths and abundances of finally used lines are shown, and the method is described. The results show that that abundances of nearly all of the observed elements in the spectrum of Procyon show the solar values, but a slight overabundance of Ba seems to be real. Kurucz's (1980) new l/H = 1 convective model atmospheres are compared with previous l/H = 2 ones and found to be more consistent and better.
