Scientific paper

Many kinds of methods of time comparison which are adopted at present are summarized and analysed briefly. The applied value of the method by means of synchronous satellite is pointed out. The method is tested by Asia-satellite No. 1. The results using orbit improvement show that the post-processing error of time comparison is less than 1 μs. The prediction error is about 1 μ in 1 - 2 days and several microseconds in one week according to the observational precision attained at present.
