Scientific paper
An efficient and geophysically meaningful density correction technique has been developed to compensate the mismodeling of the atmospheric density due to the solar activity for the purpose of the precision orbit determination. This technique used a method which estimates parametrization of the atmospheric bulge angle due to the diurnal heating of the atmosphere. The result given by this technique achieves a similar radial accuracy compared to the conventional parametrization, which involves estimation of ones-per-revolution acceleration parameters.
