Several message formats of Motorola receiver are summarized. Adopting MAX232 as the interface between receiver and serial port of computer, a message receiving software has been developed for Motorola VP OnCore receiver using MSComm control on the platform of Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0. Finally, an example of data receiving is given in this paper. Developing the software is the basis of multi-channel time transfer system to reach ns level, and is very important to the system. In addition, the software can be widely used in many kinds of GPS receiver if a little change is made.
