A mechanism for heating the emission-line nebulae noted in some cooling flow clusters is discussed which may also be applicable to the heating of the inner regions of cooling flows. It is demonstrated that sound waves generated near the edge of the cooling region are focused inward by the drop in sound speed at small radii. It is shown that if the wave generation is strong enough, the wave amplitudes become large enough in the innermost regions (less than about 10 kpc) to account for the observed line widths of the emission nebula, and that the inward energy flux is large enough to account for typical emission-line nebulae luminosities.
