A method of constructing the complex of sensors which measure the parameters of motion of a spacecraft is proposed. The sensing elements are arranged in pairs along each of four orthogonal axes of the control object. The reliability of the suggested approach is compared with those of the six-sensor method described by Gilmore and MacKern (1972) and the method of tripling with an output majority element. The system presently described is functional after failure of any two sensors, while the other approaches tolerate failure of one sensor only.
