Sunspots: Models, Sunspots: Magnetohydrodynamics

With few modifications on the Osherovich's return-flux model of sunspots, a set of solutions are obtained and the needed parameters are determined by checking observation. All physical quantities at sunspots center are used as the main boundary condition, which is different with the traditional choice at the infinite or at the non-perturbed photosphere. A particular solution is obtained by this model for a medium sized, cylindrically symmetric unipolar sunspot. It is found that the present results are in good agreement with both magnetic features and thermodynamic quantities.
