The spectrophotometer presented here combines the advantage of aperture
photometry with spectrophotometry to obtain colors of extended objects
over the range of 3500-6000 A. The spectrophotometric resolution matches
the resolution of intermediate-band interference filters of about 140 A
FWHM.
