During a balloon flight on 8th October 1978, the MISO low energy γ-ray telescope studied the region of sky containing the high energy γ-ray source CG 195+4. No statistically significant fluxes of high energy X-rays or low energy γ-rays in the range 20 keV to 25 MeV were detected, and a search of the data for the 59 s periodicity reported at higher energies gave a negative result.
