We briefly review some of the basic properties of the Chandra Deep Field
(CDF) X-ray sources, explore the CDF X-ray number counts for both AGN
and galaxies and how they contribute to the X-ray background, and
highlight a few recent results regarding the host-galaxy morphologies of
the CDF AGN using HST ACS data.
