We establish the possible shapes of the equilibrium configurations of a
light subsystem with internal flux of matter of constant vorticity
inside a homogeneous gravitating spheroid. We determine the geometric
and kinematic properties of ellipsoidal and hyperboloidal figures, and
also their stability vis-à-vis second-form perturbations.
