I present the first results from a photometric and spectroscopic study of galaxies at z>5. We have obtained a spectroscopically confirmed sample of 60 galaxies at z>5. This allowed us to confirm a definite decrease in the number density of Lyman break galaxies compared to z˜4, and we have discovered two coherent structures at z˜5 within two separate 44 arcmin^{2} fields.
