A large-number theory connecting the gravitational world with the strong world (hadrons) which implies a gravitational constant which does not vary in time is presented. Similarities between the strong and gravitational forces are noted, and it is shown that a series of expressions relating gravitational and strong interactions can be derived by assuming the cosmos (gravitational world) and hadrons to be similar systems. Assuming the similarity between the cosmos and hadrons, and a cyclic big bang theory with a period of about 10 to the 18th sec, the theory predicts that hadrons perform a complete cycle of expansion and contraction in about 10 to the -23rd sec, and implies that the ratio of the maximal or average radii of hadrons and the universe is independent of time, thus the gravitational constant to which it is related is independant of time.
