We have completed photometric and spectroscopic observations of about 1000 G and K-type stars near the two cardinal directions which correspond to Galactic rotation. Radial velocities and estimates of stellar metallicity have been derived from the spectra with Fourier/cross-correlation techniques. Estimates of spectral type, luminosity class, metallicity, distance and reddening have been derived from the DDO and BV photometry. A maximum likelihood technique has been used to extract stellar populations from the kinematic and abundance data.
