At present, the kind of clock which is commercially available and used in various fields usually stands as a single and independent instrument. It is unsuitable for the clock display device of applied hydrogen maser, for its too big size and too high power consumption. For this reason, a time standard with the high performance to price ratio (Pe/Pr), multi-function, and low power consumption was developed in Shanghai Observatory.
