A decameter multichannel spectrograph is described which simultaneously gives a 20-kHz frequency resolution and a 0.1-ms time resolution. Its characteristics have been defined for the study of narrow-band solar bursts ('split pairs', for instance) and of the fine structure of the Jovian emission ('modulation lanes' and 'millisecond bursts'). Examples are given of solar and Jovian storms recently observed with this receiver.
