We report on a possible detection of 100-milliHz band fast-mode waves in the solar chromosphere, seen with TRACE. Near the end of 2002, TRACE collected extremely high cadence images in the 1600 Å continuum; initial studies show a possible signature of waves propagating near the coronal Alfveń speed with periods as low as 10 seconds. Waves at this frequency are near the high frequency limit because the period is only 10-100 times the ion-electron collision time. We present these initial results and the outcome of an ongoing follow-on study.
