A search for OH emission at 1612 MHz has been conducted in the region between declinations 80° ≤ δ ≤ 90°. The velocity intervals searched were -132 < VLSR < -53 km s-1 and -39 VLSR < +40 km s-1 with a typical minimum detection limit of 8 Jy. No new sources were found. The inferred maximum space density of Type II OH/IR objects is consistent with previous surveys both for known long-period variable stars and for unidentified OH/IR objects.
