We present an illustrated guide to suitable locations from which to observe the total solar eclipse of 11th August 1999 in the Penwith Peninsula, SW Cornwall, UK. There is an emphasis on archeological and historic landmarks (stone circles, quoits and standing stones etc.) and seascape and cliff locations of exceptional beauty. To aid in the personal choice of an observing location, detailed maps and a few words of general advice are given. The text is illustrated with eclipse-location collages (although the position and size of the Sun are arbitrary).
